“I met some of the most thoughtful and courteous people today.  It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to talk with individuals who care so much for America and its future.  I was also pleasantly surprised to meet so many Democrats who have become disillusioned with their party and have found common ground with the Tea Party movement.

"The Tea Party movement is a true grassroots effort to educate and motivate the people.  I share the Tea Party’s belief in limiting the federal government and preserving the liberties of the American people by upholding the Constitution."

It was great to have the opportunity to talk to voters from the 13th face to face.

We had a great group of campaign volunteers helping to get our message out.  

Many people commented that they were pleased and excited to see my campaign has a lot of young people actively involved.  I agree!  

These pictures were taken before the Tea Party Express buses arrived.  The crowd swelled to at least three times this size by the end.  

I was glad to have the opportunity to meet and speak with Steve Christopher, who was a candidate for Ohio Attorney General until Sec. of State Jennifer Brunner "lost" his petitions.  Steve was one of the best speakers of the day!

The day ended with the Tea Party Express gang leading the crowd in "I'm Proud to Be an American" A great ending to a great day!
